WINEMAKING: The name “Vom Lehm” refers to the clay soil on which the aromatic termeno produces the best wines and the image on the label shows the development from the clay soil to the vine to the finished wine. Harvested by hand, cold mazeration for 12 hours, thoughtful pressing, alcoholic fermentation in steel, aging on the noble lees for 6 months.
TASTING NOTES: With its iridescent nuances between bright yellow and golden yellow, its richness of aromas ranging from rose petals to honey and nutmeg, this wine is pleasantly spicy on the palate, broad and full-bodied, robust in its structure and with very persistent aromas.
FOOD PAIRINGS: This gewurztraminer goes well with ginger and its flowers, curry, turmeric, nutmeg, cinnamon, raisins, dried fruit, cedar, cardamom, avocado, lychee. It is an ideal wine to combine with Thai cuisine, suitable for many Chinese dishes and for Japanese sushi.
