Region: Colli Tortonesi, Piemonte
Grapes: 100% Timorasso
Soil: silty calcareous
Winemaking: harvested in mid-September at yields of 4,000 kg/hectare (about 24 hl/ha). The grapes are whole-cluster pressed. Fermentation is spontaneous with temperature control in concrete vats. In this vintage, malolactic was completed. Aged in concrete for 9 months on the fine lees. Bottled with a light filtration and then bottled aged until September, the earliest release allowed for a Colli Tortonesi Timorasso.
Tasting Notes: subtle notes of white fruit and flowers on the nose. Lean, racy and mineral on the palate with a full body and texture
Food Pairing: seafood, vegetables and white meat
